How to choose your Wedding Flowers Depending on the type and size of wedding you’re having the flowers you choose may be lavish and abundant or just a few simple touches here and there. Your first priority is your bridal bouquet. This really dictates the overall theme of your wedding flowers and is an extremely personal choice. There are several factors to take in to account when you decide upon your bouquet. For example, if you’re tall you can carry off a long flowing bouquet in a traditional tear drop style, whereas, if you are shorter, your frame is better suited to a smaller rounded style bouquet. You should also consider that the bigger the bouquet the heavier it will be. You will be holding the flowers for quite some time so consider convenience.   Wedding Table Arrangement You should also take into account the style of your dress. If the dress is traditional you could choose lilies and ivy to complement this. If your dress is modern and simple, or you are wearing a suit, you could go for a contemporary design with one or two flowers or a block of colour. If you are having a modern, urban or civil wedding your flowers could reflect this and be very current and fashionable. Your table arrangements could stand tall and be complemented by dramatic glass, feathers and diamonds. You could choose exotic flowers that can stand alone such as heliconia or bird of paradise or pick colourful tulips and gerberas for a stunning look. Wedding Bouquet   If your wedding is more traditional or you are having a country wedding, you could opt for wild looking flowers such as daisies and ranunculus. Your bouquet and arrangements could appear unstructured and natural. The rest of your wedding flowers will fall in to place after you have chosen your bouquet.
